How long do SheerSoy candles burn?
Burn Times: 8 oz. - 70 hours*
*Approximate longevity when burned correctly.
Candle Tips & Burn Instructions:
First Burn — Allow pool of wax to extend to outside rim of jar to set it's "memory." Each time you burn the candle, it will "remember" to burn out to the rim. Rule of thumb: Burn one hour for every inch of your candle's diameter.
Keep wicks trimmed to 1/4" and centered.
Burn candles on a protective, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts.
Extinguish flame by dipping wick into the melted wax pool, then reposition. This will help eliminate smoking or "afterglow." Store candles in an upright, level position in a dark and cool area. Do not store directly in bright light or leave in your vehicle. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Never leave a burning candle unattended!
To extinguish flame: Simply dip your wick (with a fire-safe utensil or accessory) into the melted wax pool and back out again. That's it—no smoky residue or "afterglow"! Make sure your wick is centered for the next burn.

What are the benefits of soy?
Soy wax is 100% natural. For this reason, soy candles are the “candle of choice” for environmentally concerned consumers. Paraffin candles are made from petroleum and release CO2 in the atmosphere.
It’s easy to clean up a soy candle wax spill. A soy candle spill only requires some soap and hot water to clean. Paraffin wax from a traditional candle can be very difficult to clean if spilled on textiles or furniture.
Soy candles can produce a more intense aroma than a traditional candle. The scent of a candle comes from the pool of melted wax. Soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin candles and consequently has a larger pool of melted way to disperse the fragrance. This is why soy candles smell so good!
Soy candles produce far less soot than paraffin candles. In fact, the soot produced is 90% less and also is white. For this reason, soy candles are the healthy alternative to a paraffin wax candle. Breathing toxic soot can be very unhealthy and will eventually cover nearby walls and furniture.
